Rory McIlroy will chase an elusive fifth major this week in Los Angeles as the 2023 U.S. Open kicks off.
The Northern Ireland man has not won a major since 2014 and has had an up-and-down year.
The former world number one has won once in 2023 but suffered a setback when he missed the cut at this year's Masters but did come close at the PGA Championship.

But despite his up-and-down form, the 34-year-old is still among the favourites this week.

There are four other Irish in action this week with Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Seamus Power and Matthew McClean all in the field.
Lowry is first out at 3.40 pm and will play alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Thomas.
Padraig Harrington will tee off at 8.59 pm alongside Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley while Seamus Power and Matthew McClean play with Ryan Fox at 4.35 pm.
