With the FIFA 22 Team of the Year (TOTY) officially ending, the results will be released soon.
It includes the likes of Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and many other high-class players.
The TOTY fan vote, which began on Monday, January 10 ended on Tuesday, January 18 at 7.59am - it allowed players to vote for a TOTY from a pool of 800 nominees.
While the fan vote does hold some contention as to who the winner will be, EA stated in its terms and conditions that "The final Team of the Year selection will be determined by community votes with possible input from EA".
Throughout the years, the FIFA Ultimate Team TOTY has been one of the most popular FUT promos in the FIFA calendar, going so far as to reward the best performing players with boosted FIFA Ultimate Team player items.
EA has confirmed that the FIFA 22 TOTY will be released today (January 20) at 6pm UK time.
Upon the release of the Ultimate TOTY, players will most likely be released in position order - with attackers entering first, followed by midfielders and then defenders.
While this is the usual trend that has been set in stone by previous releases, there is no confirmation that this will be the case this year.
