What time does BBC Three launch? Opening night line-up as channel returns

There is a great excitement from TV fans over the return of BBC Three on Tuesday night.

BBC Three was first launched in 2003 and gave us popular programmes like Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Snog Marry Avoid, Little Britain and Gavin and Stacey, with the latter making its debut on the channel in 2007, before going on to be a massive primetime success for BBC1.

There was upset and controversy when the decision was made to axe BBC Three from TV in 2016, with it becoming an online streaming service.

However, it has gone to taste big success thanks to the likes of Fleabag, I May Destroy You, Normal People and Angels of the North, which have all been huge binge watch hits on BBC iPlayer.
