What time and TV channel is Ross County v Celtic on tonight?

The sides clash in the Premier Sports Cup this time around, with the game coming just days after Celtic hammered Dundee United 9-0 at Tannadice, which led to Jack Ross' sacking on Tuesday.

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou: “The most important game is the next one. You don’t want to be thinking about games that are two or three ahead and going into a game without the best intentions of playing good football going into it and getting a good result.

“The most important game for us is this one. We want to perform at a good level and make sure that we get the job done against a difficult opponent.

“That will then give us the impetus to look at the next challenge, whatever that may be. In this case it’s against Rangers but if we look beyond Ross County and dismiss that game then we haven’t had the ideal preparation to meet the challenges ahead.”

Ross County midfielder David Cancola: “Obviously the fact that we just lost 4-0 at Ibrox doesn’t make it any easier mentally but I think we have had time to look over the game and learn from our mistakes.

“And also we have played Celtic here recently which was a very close game.

“So I don’t think that game will influence our mindset in any way.

“I’m always a very positive and optimistic person. Maybe people will tell me I’m crazy – but I’m very positive for this game and I think we can get a result.

“Cup games are even more unpredictable than league games and, who knows, maybe we can get the upset.”
