Frustrated Aiden McGeady reckons Celtic's draw at Hibs "undoes" their derby win over Rangers.
Ange Postecoglou 's team have been electric since returning from the winter break. They had eight league wins on the spin going into their clash at Easter Road, including a 3-0 thumping of Rangers that put their noses in front in the title race.
But that winning run came to an end in Leith as Hibs held them to a stalemate. Neither side created much in the way of clear chances and Celtic know Rangers have the chance top move to within a point of them on Sunday.
It left former Parkhead winger McGeady, who was on punditry duty for Sky Sports, rueing a missed opportunity to turn the screw on their rivals.
He said: "It was very frustrating because it undoes the good work of a couple of weeks ago, beating Rangers 3-0.
"It was just very passive and slow in possession. Hibs defended very well, they had no shots on target but they were very resolute.
"I'm just disappointed in terms of Celtic's final third and their end product."
Kris Boyd joined him but it was Hibs who the former Rangers striker focused his criticism on.
For the fourth time in five Premiership games, the Hibees failed to find the back of the net and they failed to even register a shot on target against Celtic.
He said: "For Hibs it was a fantastic point against the league leaders. There was something there to build on.
"But you need to find something at the top end of the pitch, especially with (Kevin) Nisbet going off, and create opportunities.
"A lot of the time even Nisbet finds himself in wide areas. Doidge came on and did the same.
"When someone vacates that central area you need runners to get beyond and occupy the middle.
"That's the next step for Hibs."
Meanwhile Pat Bonner reckons Celtic might as well not have turned up for the second half.
They only created one real chance towards the end but Matt Macey denied Daizen Maeda and Bonner said on Sportsound: "It didn't happen for Celtic today, there was no fluency. In the second half, they just weren't there.
"The one big chance, Matt Macey pulls off a great save. That is two precious points dropped."
