What teams are competing at the Rugby League World Cup? Full list of countries

The Rugby League World Cup is about to kick off after a year-long postponement, with the tournament being staged in England.

More teams than ever will compete for the men's trophy, with four groups of four nations competing in stadia across England, while the women's and wheelchair competitions both start off with two groups of four nations competing against each other.

The BBC have got broadcasting rights for this year's tournament, and all games will be shown across their channels.

Here are all the teams competing in each competition:

Men's Rugby League World Cup teams

Group A

Group C

Women's Rugby League World Cup teams

Eight teams will compete over three weeks, and it will be the first time that teams from four different continents will play in the competition.

Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup teams

For the first time, the wheelchair competition will be part of the Rugby League World Cup main event. People who aren't disabled are welcome to compete in this sport, while both men and women can play in the same team.
