What Son Heung-min and Richarlison did at full-time in World Cup clash amid Brazil Pele message

Brazil sealed their spot in the World Cup quarter finals with a rampant last-16 victory against South Korea with Tite's side putting in a ruthless first half display scoring four without reply. Paik Seung-ho scored a late consolation for South Korea but Brazil saw the game out with relative ease.

Vinicius Jr opened the scoring after seven minutes with Neymar then marking his return from injury in by doubling Brazil's lead just six minutes later, converting from the penalty spot.

Spurs star Richarlison then got his third of the tournament when he juggled the ball to himself before making a run beyond the South Korean defence and exquisitely finishing Thiago Silva's pass. Lucas Paqueta then added a fourth 10 minutes before the half-time whistle with Paik Seung-ho's late goal for South Korea merely a consolation.

Following the full time whistle, Brazil sent a message of support to their legendary record goal scorer Pele after reports emerged he was receiving palliative care in hospital.

The footballing icon had regularly been visiting hospital for check-ups in recent years and had undergone chemotherapy for a colon tumour discovered in September, but his daughters Flavia and Kely Nascimento have said he is 'not at risk'.

At the full time whistle, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar and Danilo entered the field holding a banner which they they opened up to reveal an image of Pele. The entire Brazil squad then posed for a photo with the banner that also showed his name brandished in big letters in a message of support for the 82-year-old.

There was also a noticeable moment at the end of the match between Spurs team-mates Son Heung-min and Richarlison, who seemed to exchange a number of kind words before hugging. Richarlison then placed his hand on the head of the South Korean star, consoling him following the conclusion of his World Cup journey at the last-16 stage.
