What's wrong with Paul Foreman in Corrie? Character suffers health woes after crash

Coronation Street fans are concerned over what is wrong with Paul Foreman, after his recent accident.

His health issues appear to be getting worse or are at least not improving, after he hurt his hand in a bike crash.

Paul was riding a motorbike when Carla sped into him, knocking him off and leaving him injured.

In the fallout, Paul has had issues with his hands and his ability to grip things and he has been a little shaky.

The character became concerned about it so went to see his doctor only to be told his hand injury could take weeks to heal.

But in upcoming scenes, after yet more visits to the GP, he learns he must have health tests done to try and determine the cause of his issues.

With him still experiencing a loss of grip in his hand, he's told that it might not be the crash that has caused the symptoms.

Dr Gaddas refers him to a neurologist, and he is soon accessed at the hospital.

Later in the week, the neurologist tells Paul that he’s sending him for further scans but the problems he’s experiencing are unlikely to have been caused by the accident.

So what is wrong with Paul and what is causing his discomfort?

Viewers have been concerned for Paul for weeks ever since he started struggling to control his hands, with them shaking in a few scenes.

Some fans speculated he may have a health condition, as others guessed that the accident may have caused a severe injury or even paralysis of some sort in his hand.

The doctor had initially warned it was nerve damage, leading to him wanting to sue Carla for driving the van into him.

Taking to Twitter with their theories, one fan wrote: "Uh oh Paul’s got partial paralysis in his hands."

Another viewer commented: "Paul has nerve damage I knew it."

A third fan said after the crash: "I think Paul has really bad nerve damage from the crash he was involved in. He needs to get it checked out," while a fourth tweeted: "So, MS or Parkinson's or something else for Paul?"

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
