What's on TV tonight? Holby City finale, The Great British Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer and Concert for Ukraine

It's a busy evening across the TV schedule tonight as an iconic BBC drama is set to say goodbye, after more than two decades on our screens. Meanwhile musicians and singers will unite for a live music concert to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal over on ITV and a bunch of celebs will be baking over on Channel 4 to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.

We've searched the listings of the main broadcasting channels to pick out some of the best shows set to air on March 29. If you're a fan of the soaps, Tuesday will see BBC One's EastEnders and ITV's Emmerdale both air from 7.30pm. Hollyoaks will broadcast as usual from 7pm on E4.

Here's our top five TV highlights for Tuesday, March 29:

Holby City - BBC One - 7.50pm

It will be an emotional viewing for die-hard Holby City fans and the stellar cast tonight as the long-running hospital drama concludes after 23-years, so it's certainly not going to be an episode you'll want to miss. Throughout the week the Holby City Twitter account have been posting clips of the cast sharing their memories of working on the medical soap.

Concert for Ukraine - ITV - 8pm

Head over to ITV from 8pm for a one-off two-hour programme filled with live music all in aid of charity. Performers including Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Gregory Porter, Anne Marie and Paloma Faith and more will be taking to the stage in Birmingham's NEC Arena tonight for a live gig in aid of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The night will be hosted by Roman Kemp, Marvin Humes and Emma Bunton.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer - Channel 4 - 8pm

Who is on Taking part in this week's celebrity special will be comedian-turned-wellness guru Ruby Wax, TV presenter and Love Island host Laura Whitmore, social media star Yung Filly and singing coach Gareth Malone. In the second instalment of this five-part Bake Off series for Stand Up to Cancer the celebs will be tasked with making fruit turnovers for the Signature challenge, chocolate fondant for the Technical and finally in the showstopper round, they must impress judges Prue and Paul by reliving an embarrassing moment in the form of meringues.

The Flash - Sky Max - 8pm

Sci-fi drama series The Flash returns to Sky tonight with its eighth series. In the first instalment titled 'Armageddon' a powerful alien will threaten planet Earth and it's down to Barry/The Flash played by Grant Gustin, Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash to save the world before it's too late.

Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild - Channel 5 - 9pm

Ben Fogles' sixteenth documentary series of Lives in the Wild concludes this evening when he takes a trip back to Pembrokeshire to visit the Watkinson family, who both gave up their careers as vets for a life off-grid in the South West of Wales. All previous episodes of the series will be available to watch on My5.
