What's on the menu at the three Welsh restaurants on Come Dine With Me: The Professionals

Come Dine With Me: The Professionals hits Wales this week with three restaurants hoping to win a grand in prize money as well as the honour of walking away as champion of the episode. The venues taking part on Thursday, July 21 are Cardiff taco kings, La Pantera, steak house The Gate from Llanfrechfa and The Horse and Jockey from Pontypool.

Their styles of menu are all different and dishes cooked on the show will see Welsh lamb and mackerel tacos, steak and seafood classics and traditional gastropub-grub.

But what's on offer at the venues themselves? Let's take a look.

What's on the menu? Tacos of course! But not any old tacos. For example, their latest menu - it changes regularly - you'll get Thai pork style patties taco or a smoked salmon roulade taco. They are also famous for their Big Tac taco, a taco-y take on the McDonald's classic. And they do slushy cocktails. They also change regularly and are lush. Read more on the La Pantera team, here.

Price : £8 for tacos, sides from £3 and beers and cocktails vary.

Opening hours: Wednesdays to Sundays.

The Gate, Llanfrechfa, Cwmbran
