We're nearing the end, but looking toward the future: Vanderpump Rules season 11.
On Wednesday, May 17, the tumultuous Vanderpump Rules finale left a mess in its path: the end of a decade-long romance between Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, and nothing but disdain towards Raquel Leviss for engaging in a seventh-month-long affair with her best friend's partner.
It's been heavy, but #Scandoval is still unraveling before us, considering the three-part Vanderpump Rules reunion is set to begin on Wednesday, May 24. The group is divided, and two prominent players (three if you count Tom Schwartz) are probably not going to find redemption. So now what? Who's the number #1 guy in the group? Will there ever be peace? Where is Raquel Leviss now? We have a lot of questions.
What's going on with 'Vanderpump Rules' season 11?
Though we originally wondered if Vanderpump Rules was cancelled post-Scandoval, we learned that the Bravo series has been renewed. In fact, season 10 brought in record numbers. What's a bit uncertain at the moment, however, is who will be involved, considering Sandoval and Leviss' fall from grace.
Plus, we got a sneak peek at an old, dear friend: none other than the chaotic Kristen Doute—who also dated Sandoval—when she came to comfort Ariana after the breakup. According to sources, bringing back old members like Doute is definitely a consideration, as they're still involved with the main friend group. However, at the time of publication, contracts have yet to go out.
Typically, filming for each season takes place in the summer, but Alex Baskin, the show's executive producer, insists that there needs to be a little breather.
"The reunion is not just a recap of what you know, and it’s not just an intense version of the emotions. There is new information," he told Variety. "I’m not saying this as a mere tease. This is true. I will put it this way: There are revelations, and they are revelations that not all of them know now. So we need a little space.”
As for what comes next for the group? Reconciliation might not be in the cards anytime soon—if at all. When speaking to The New York Times, Ariana Madix mentioned that it's probably not likely that she will move forward in any capacity with Sandoval or Leviss.
"I think had they not done or said all of those horrible things, maybe one day, but I think the answer ultimately is no. In our friend group, the answer is no," she told the publication.
And after all this mess? Tom and Raquel have broken up. This isn't scripted folks—you really can't make this chaos up.
The three-part Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion will air on Bravo on Wednesday, May 24 at 9pm. It will be available next-day on Peacock.
