Boston Celtics‘ star forward Jayson Tatum has been making headlines this offseason for his expanding tattoo collection. One of his latest additions, simply reading “Life,” has caught the public’s attention for its reference to various movies, including “White Men Can’t Jump,” “John Q.,” “The Incredibles,” and “Hitch.” What makes it intriguing is the scene from “Hitch” featuring actor Will Smith’s character, Alex Hitchens, experiencing an allergic reaction.
Tatum’s tattoo choice caught the eye of none other than Smith himself, who commented on Instagram, asking “I need to know why that pic,” and tagged Tatum. The NBA All-Star swiftly responded, promising to explain the choice in person.
