Roberto Firmino is set to leave Liverpool this summer - and the news has now seemingly been confirmed by the striker's agent.
The Reds looked poised to offer Firmino a new contract that would extend his stay beyond this summer. However, the Brazilian is now set to leave the club when his contract expires.
Firmino’s current deal is set to run out at the end of the season. The 31-year-old has scored 107 goals in 352 appearances since signing for the club from Hoffenheim in 2015.

The ECHO understands that Firmino has now decided to seek a fresh challenge and will walk away after his stint at Anfield has seen him win seven trophies.
Firmino's agent, Roger Wittman, has spoken briefly about the striker's future. Speaking to journalist Ismael Mahmoud for 365Scores Arabic, he is quoted as saying: "Firmino will Leave Liverpool in the summer, I can confirm that. Nice way to leave after eight incredible years!"
News around Firmino comes a month after his agent Wittman spoke about his client’s future. Wittman said at the start of February that talks were progressing with Liverpool over a new deal, and that it would soon be confirmed where the "journey" was going next.
“It’s a very long relationship between Roberto and Liverpool,” Wittmann said to Sky Germany in February.
“Roberto feels good. At the moment, we’re in a great exchange and in February we’ll probably know where the journey is going.
“But Roberto also has to have a say in order to reach an agreement with Liverpool. We’re on the right track (and) we’re having really good talks with Liverpool. They’re a superbly positioned club.”
