Just Eat has announced voting is now open for its Just Eat Restaurant Awards, back for a seventh year. Formerly the British Takeaway Awards, they aim to champion the nation’s most-loved restaurants and the people who make them a success.
Marking their return, the food delivery app confirms its new judging panel of famous foodie faces, including fashion icon Gok Wan, British Chef and TV food personality, Andi Oliver, and TikTok sensation and Michelin trained chef, Poppy O’Toole (aka Poppy Cooks).
The launch comes as new research by Just Eat reveals takeaway Brits mark their happiest moments with a takeaway. Birthdays (46%), anniversaries (24%), moving home (18%) and early finishes from work (15%) all rank as some of the UK’s top milestone moments we celebrate with our favourite dishes.
