Mohamed Al Khereiji's fellow countryman Khalid Al Khudair has liked tweets linking the Saudi Media Consortium to Chelsea as the deadline for entering bids for the club approaches.
Roman Abramovich had initially given the green light for the sale, with the deadline reportedly set for this Tuesday. The UK government's decision to impose sanctions on him that mean he cannot benefit from the sale of the club have confused matters somewhat, however.
British businessman Nick Candy and a Todd Boehly consortium had been the two early front runners in this takeover, while the Saudi Media group have also been linked with a bid.

Al-Khereiji, the leader of the consortium, has big plans for the club if his bid is successful, understood to include major improvements to Stamford Bridge.
CBS correspondent Ben Jacobs has claimed that an offer of £2.7billion has been submitted to purchase Chelsea by Saudi Media.
But one other factor that has hinted at this bid was with what Al Khudair has done. Born a Chelsea fan and the CEO of Glowork women empowerment organisation in his home nation, a company created to battle inequality- he has been teasing certain people on social media with his actions.
While all the Saudi Media links have been reported, Al Khudair has been liking the tweets from the national media outlets in England, whilst also following a selection of Chelsea fans who have been hyping up the Saudi propaganda. Does he know something we don't about his fellow countryman Al-Khereiji?
