Optimistic Manchester United fans may still be harbouring hopes of the Reds winning the quadruple this season after yet another victory, this time against Leicester City.
United's best chance of silverware this season is currently in the form of the Carabao Cup. The Reds face Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium on Sunday in the final of the competition knowing that the Magpies will have to rely on their third-choice goalkeeper after Nick Pope was sent off against Liverpool at the weekend.
Erik ten Hag's team are still competing in the Europa League but their future in that competition hangs in the balance following a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou in the first leg of their play-off match with Barcelona. United are also competing in the FA Cup and shall host West Ham United in the fifth round on Wednesday, March 1.

As for the Premier League, the Reds currently sit five points behind leaders Arsenal who have a game in hand on Ten Hag's men. However, both the Gunners and local rivals Manchester City have faltered in recent weeks leaving some optimistic of landing the title as well as the three cup competitions United find themselves in.
With that in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at what some of the Reds' pundits and former players make of United's chances of celebrating the quadruple.
Paul Scholes
After the draw with the La Liga giants on Thursday night, Scholes was confident that United could be able to complete the quadruple. Speaking to BT Sport, the ex-midfielder said: "The quadruple is still on.
"No look, every game is a big game." When host Jules Breach said that he was not joking, Scholes responded: "No, I’m not joking."
Gary Neville
When asked on Sky Sports before facing Arsenal at the Emirates whether United were in the title race, Neville was adamant that Ten Hag's team were not in that conversation. "I don’t think they (Man Utd) are (in the mix for the title)," the former full-back explained.
"I think they’re short compared to other teams. They are a little bit short up front.
"You think about Weghorst coming in, he was a stop gap. The others seem to have more firepower, but United, from where they were at the start of the season, are in a really good position."
Wout Weghorst
Ahead of the first leg against Barca, Weghorst mentioned that the United squad were targeting success in all four competitions. The striker told the club's official website: "Yeah, of course it’s a great challenge for us (facing Barcelona).
"Of course the two matches with Barcelona are great, but at the end it’s about winning and it’s about the trophies. It doesn’t matter which club, or which stadium, wherever you’re going to play.
"We’re still active in four competitions and we want to keep playing in them. That’s why there’s only one thing that’s counting and that’s winning these days."
Marcus Rashford
After scoring twice in United's 3-0 win over the Foxes, Rashford was asked about United's chances in the Premier League. He answered: "Obviously, we are there, we are close.
"At the same time, both teams in front of us are really good teams and they are playing good football at the minute as well. Overall, a good day.
"They created good opportunities and David made a great save at the end of the first half. Without that, we can't go on to win the game."
Luke Shaw
Following the 2-1 derby win over rivals Manchester City in January, Shaw admitted he and his teammates were setting their sights high this season.
"Right now as a team we have to make sure we have the right consistency in performances and results," he said. "It's always about winning. If you play well or not, you need to be winning, and recently we've been doing that.
"We're still in four competitions. We're Manchester United, we have to aim high. Of course we want to win all four of them, but whether that happens or not is down to us, it's down to the way we act, the way we rest and get ready for the next game."
Raphael Varane
After that same game, centre-back Raphael Varane also admitted the squad had been dreaming big.
"Everything is possible," the French defender said after the derby day comeback victory. "We’ll just take it game by game. It’s a long way to go and it’s very difficult. The intensity of every game is incredible, the physical effort. It’s like the same intensity of a big Champions (League) game every game.
"The rhythm is very high. The players are very well prepared physically. We know how difficult it is. But we’re solid; we’re strong. We just need to use quality players with the ball."
Erik ten Hag
The United boss has admitted he and his squad want to remain in as many competitions for 'as long as possible' this season.
"That’s good, that’s why we need all the players we have in the squad here," Ten Hag said after fielding questions about the Reds' jam-packed schedule. "To develop them, but especially to get the right results out of it. We want to stay in all of those competitions as long as possible, so we have to fight for that.
"That's good for the development of this squad. If we're ahead or not in the process, I don’t know. What we do is every day we have to give our maximum, because good is not good enough. We have to do better, so we keep going with the progress.
"It’s never at an end. We have to approach it like that. If we’re ahead or not in the process, it’s not that important - it’s where we are now. We want to win every game. It doesn’t matter who the opponent is."
