Manchester City star Jack Grealish was seen being comforted by family and friends in the stands after England's gutting loss to France on Saturday night.
Didier Deschamps' defending champions started brightly and were ahead on 17 minutes thanks to Aurelien Tchouameni's wonder strike which evaded the dive of Jordan Pickford. The Three Lions responded strongly and were unfortunate not to equalise when Harry Kane's fierce effort was palmed away by Hugo Lloris.
Ten minutes after the interval, Kane would bring England level converting a penalty after Bukayo Saka was hauled down inside the box. Gareth Southgate's team looked to be well on top before being hit by a sucker-punch as Olivier Giroud powered a deflected header past Pickford.

Moments later, Kane had the opportunity to equalise from 12 yards once again when Mason Mount was bundled over in the area by Theo Hernandez. However, on this occasion the Tottenham Hotspur captain blazed his spot kick over the crossbar.
In a bid to turn the game in the closing moments, Grealish replaced his City teammate John Stones but a Marcus Rashford free kick would be the closest England would come before full time. After commiserating on the pitch Grealish and other Three Lions players went into the stands to be consoled by family members.
The City man was pictured alongside his girlfriend Sasha Attwood at the Al Bayt Stadium before exiting the stadium for the final time this tournament. Grealish, along with fellow City stars Kalvin Phillips, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Stones will now return to Manchester ahead of the return of competitive domestic football over the festive period.
On Thursday, December 22, City will welcome Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium in the Carabao Cup before facing Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday, December 28 in their first Premier League match back.
