Pep Guardiola wants a break before thinking about next season as he celebrates a historic season for Manchester City.
A 1-0 win over Inter in Istanbul was enough for the Blues to clinch their first ever Champions League trophy and in doing so completed the Treble following their successes in the Premier League and FA Cup. City's win in Europe will be seen as a launchpad for their European ambitions as they aim to translate their domestic success across the continent.
Guardiola will be at the helm next season to take charge and the expectations will once again be on the club to compete for honours in every competition they go to. City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak was quick to remind his manager about the destination of next year's Champions League final but Guardiola held his tongue in response.
"Don't talk to me about going again," he said in his press conference. "Give me a break, please. My chairman said 'Oh London is next season the final of the Champions League'. I didn't answer him because it would not be proper! Now is the time to celebrate."

City knocked Real Madrid and Bayern Munich out of the competition en route to winning the competition, but Guardiola is more concerned about looking behind than focusing on ahead. As incredible as City's achievements have been, the manager wants to make sure that they are facing the right way.
"We are just 13 Champions Leagues away [from Real Madrid]," he laughed.. "Just 13. Be careful Real Madrid because we are on the way. If you sleep a little bit, we will catch you.
"We cannot compare [to them]. Now we have the first, when people say Man City is already the first Champions League but I don't want after one Champions League to disappear. We have to work harder next season and be there.
"There are teams that win the Champions League and then disappear after one or two seasons. We have to avoid it.
"Knowing me, it is not going to happen but it is a big relief for the club and the institution to have this trophy because now finally they are not going to ask me if we are going to win the Champions League or not. Now you have to prepare the next question."
