New footage has emerged of Diogo Jota apologising to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp following his mistimed challenge in the closing stages of Liverpool's 4-3 victory at Anfield.
The Portugal international was embroiled in controversy prior to his last-gasp winner during the seven-goal thriller on Sunday afternoon as a coming together between the pair resulted in the midfielder sustaining a bloodied head injury, which required Skipp to be substituted after lengthy treatment on the Anfield turf.
Despite the protests of the visitors Paul Tierney brandished a yellow card in the direction of the Liverpool forward, who later fired a 94th-minute winner to keep the Reds' faint hopes of securing Champions League football alive.
