Leeds United are set to kick off their tour down under in Australia this week with a match-up against A-League side Brisbane Roar. The first of three games Leeds will play in Australia, the Whites will take on the Roar on 14 July at the Cbus Super Stadium as part of the inaugural Queensland Champions Cup.
Following their clash against the Roar, Leeds will then take on fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and Crystal Palace on 17 July and 22nd July respectively. Jesse Marsch and co got their pre-season campaign off to a flying start with a comfortable 4-0 win over Championship side Blackpool last week.
And now the Whites look set to ramp up their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign, starting with their tie against the Roar.

The Roar endured a difficult season last term, finishing second bottom in the A-League with an 11th-placed finish. Head coach Warren Moon's side won just seven of their 26 domestic games last season, with only Perth Glory enduring a worse campaign.
There aren't many names that will be familiar to Leeds fans playing for the Roar other than new summer signing Charlie Austin, who recently joined the A-League side on a free transfer after leaving Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season.
But there is one tenuous link between the two sides in the form of ex-Leeds United striker Robbie Fowler, who managed Brisbane from April 2019 to July 2020.
