Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been hailed by supporters for consoling team-mate Harry Kane after England were knocked out of the World Cup by reigning champions France.
A stunner from Aurelien Tchouameni and a late header from Olivier Giroud, either side of Kane's second half equaliser, proved to be too much for the Three Lions as they fell to defeat at the Al Bayt Stadium - with the England captain blazing a late second penalty over the crossbar.
But as the full-time whistle rang around the Al Bayt Stadium and confirmed England's elimination from the 22nd World Cup finals, Kane, Marcus Rashford and Jude Bellingham were all visibly dejected.

However, as the cameras raced over to catch a glimpse of a distraught Kane, who was being consoled by Kieran Trippier, the Everton goalkeeper rushed over to gesture at the operators to move away and treat the England captain with respect as he comes to terms with the devastation of missing his spot-kick.
