West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen got himself on the scoresheet for a second Premier League game in a row on Sunday afternoon against Fulham.
Following Andreas Pereira’s early strike, Bowen made it 1-1 from the penalty spot just before the half hour mark after Pereira was judged to have fouled Craig Dawson at the end of a Bowen corner. Goals from Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio in the final 30 minutes secured a 3-1 win for the Hammers.
Antonio got the final goal as a late substitute in rather bizarre circumstances. After going through on goal following the ball hitting his hand, Antonio’s shot was saved by Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Before Antonio could try and follow it up, Leno found himself knocked to the ground after Fulham captain Tim Ream ran back and collided into him, with Antonio shuffling to his right and slotting into an empty net.
As Antonio away from Ream and Leno after they collided, Bowen could be seen with his arms in the air, before Antonio had even got his shot off. Fortunately for both, Antonio took his chance, his fourth goal of the season in all competitions.
Bowen himself has hit form since returning from last month’s international break, scoring twice in three appearances to double his tally for the campaign to four across the Premier League and the Europa Conference League.
