Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse has admitted anything can happen in his future amid transfer links with West Ham United.
Ward-Prowse has been linked with transfer interest from the Hammers ahead of the summer transfer window and reports in The Sun suggest that Saints have placed a £40million price tag on the 28-year-old who was unable to prevent his side from finishing rock-bottom in the Premier League table this season.
Should the Saints’ skipper leave the club this summer as expected, it would end his 20-year association with the club he first joined at the age of eight.
