It seems a new TikTok trend comes to light every week at the moment and the latest ‘give me my money’ prank is no exception.
The prank sees users form a group then take turns shouting, “Give me my money”; after which, each person in the group cheers and claps loudly.
But one unsuspecting person in the group is the unknowing victim and, when it comes to their turn, they are met with a wall of stoney silence from everyone else involved – much to the amusement of people watching.
The one person who is ignored is then left feeling pretty awkward, while the camera catches the whole thing.
The new trend has emerged on TikTok in recent weeks, with even celebrities being caught out by their families.
One, Mike Tyson, was filmed and can be seen in the clip cheering along with two others in a hilarious video.
He gets fully involved, cheering the other two saying the catchphrase, but when it is his turn – he is last – there is no reaction at all, leaving him very confused.

Fans were quick to point out they would not be brave enough to play a prank on the former champion boxer. One wrote: “You better give him his money. He won’t play.”
Other celebs to get caught out include Hollywood superstar Will Smith, who was done over by his own children in this funny video.

Other children to target their famous parents include Idris Elba’s daughter, who posted a video saying her dad was “already on his last straw”.
As they giggle, they explain what they’re going to do to their dad, who looks unimpressed but nonetheless claps along as they shout the famous catchphrase.
Only when it is his go, and he is met with silence, does he roll his eyes and walk off camera.

And it isn’t only famous faces caught out by the prank.

No one truly knows where it originated but many say YouTube streamer Kai Cenat started it during a broadcast with American rapper DreamDoll.
There are more than 25,000 posts on TikTok with the #givememymoney tag so far, and it seems as if more and more people are taking part in the trend every day.
Other TikTok trends this year have included a hack for getting the best passport photo, from using make-up tricks to glow-up lights to get the best snap.
Experts warned, however, that it could land people in trouble if they look nothing like their flattering passport picture in real life.
