The day is finally here. French phenom Victor Wembanyama is expected to be the first player selected in Thursday’s 2023 NBA draft, and fans can’t get enough of him. Much has been made of his incredible ball handling and shooting at his enormous size, but a lot of fans are’t 100% sure what his measurements actually are.
Wembanyama did not attend the NBA combine, so nothing is official. But starting with his reach, the 19-year-old has an absurd eight-foot wingspan, according to ESPN. What’s even more hard to believe is he’s still growing.
As for his height, Wembanyama has cleared that up himself when asked by a young elementary student and said he’s 7’ 3”.

While playing for the French club Metropolitans 92, he averaged 21.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and three blocks a game in 2022–23.
The Spurs are expected to take Wembanyama with the No. 1 pick Thursday night and fans catch watch it all play out on ESPN and ABC with the event starting at 8 p.m. ET.
