Matt Goss has been dancing his heart out on Strictly Come Dancing for the last month, but last night's elimination saw the Bros singer wave a teary goodbye to the dancing competition.
After failing to do well in the third round of public voting, Goss found himself in a dance-off against Kym Marsh but didn't do enough to impress the judging panel and lost out to the soap star, who was saved by all four judges.
Matt's time on Strictly marked his return to the UK after spending 25 years living in the US.
While his time on the competition has now come to an end, it appears the show has left a lasting mark on Goss, as he's opened up about a rare condition that he suffers from and how Strictly has helped him.
The singer, who has a condition called Poland Syndrome, has admitted that he was "self-conscious" for years and has paid tribute to the "very caring" costume team at Strictly.
Here's what the condition is and what Matt has said about it.
What is Poland Syndrome?
According to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Poland Syndrome is a "very rare condition" that is characterised by underdeveloped chest muscles and webbing of the fingers.
The condition usually affects just one side of the body and it can also cause shorter than usual fingers as well as problems with the digestive tract.
The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) says that Poland Syndrome is evident at birth.
It also more commonly affects males and it frequently involves the right side of the body.
The exact cause of the condition is unknown.
What has Matt Goss said about Poland Syndrome?
Like many of those who suffer from Poland Syndrome, the condition affects Matt's right side.
Explaining his condition, he told the Daily Mail: "I have one pectoral muscle on the right side instead of two. The lower one is missing but the upper one is fine and strong."
He thanked the Strictly costume team for being "discreet", adding: “It has been one of my favourite things about the Strictly experience - the costume team were relative strangers at the beginning, but from the start, they’ve always been very kind and discreet – it has really touched me."
Matt also revealed that the condition negatively impacted his confidence for years and that he plans to reshoot famous Bros photos from the 1980s after regaining his confidence.
He said: "Nobody will have ever noticed but I often used to pose covering that side of my chest,
"After Strictly I plan to reshoot those pictures and show my chest. Those original pictures tell a story – I was self-conscious then."
Doctors originally thought that Matt had a condition called septic arthritis and that his leg might have to be amputated.
Now, the singer hopes to create his own charity to help children suffering from the same syndrome.
He said: "I’ve always been a confident man and I have a very strong upper body, but I know what it is like for kids with this condition.
"I’m not disadvantaged and I want kids to know that. I am going to look at creating some kind of charity to build confidence, to show kids with the syndrome they can achieve everything in life."
