Two titles from two now for Ange Postecoglou but he’s promised to get better again. What does progression look like next year?
Michael Gannon: Scotland has been conquered so it has to be about European impact. Celtic will go straight into the Champions League group stage and it will be about taking scalps at the very top level.
Andy Newport: The Celtic faithful will demand their team make more of an impact in Europe. He may have to tone down his tactics but Celtic are good enough to be targeting a Europa League safety net when they make their Champions League return.
Craig Swan: Tweaks will be made and upgrades. Celtic have come out of every window stronger since Postecoglou arrived and it promises to be no different again. His team will keep going forward.
Fraser Wilson: Another title and making it through the group stage of the Champions League. Easy, eh? It’s got to be about improving on this season. It’s a massive task but not impossible if the progression rate continues at the same level as the last two years.
Kyogo Furuhashi hit the 30 goals mark. What would it take to prise him away right now and will the Hoops be lucky to keep him this summer?
Michael Gannon: The hitman looks comfortable in his surroundings for now. It may well help Celtic that he’s unlikely to go to the lower half of the Premier League as they look for big lumps up front. The danger is if a German team comes in but it’ll take serious dosh.
Andy Newport: They sold Moussa Dembele for £20million and should be holding out for at least the same. Whether he leaves or not, Celtic have done very well out of their relationship with the Japanese frontman.
Craig Swan: It would take an awful lot of money to shift him and the truth is that it is highly unlikely to happen. The Japanese seems happy to be at Celtic.
Fraser Wilson: He’s got that magic spark that sets him apart from everyone else in the league. I’d be amazed if clubs on the continent aren’t weighing up a summer move. But Celtic would be in their right to hold out for a record fee.
Who has been the Premiership’s player of the season minus the Old Firm?
Michael Gannon: Kevin van Veen. The big Motherwell striker has been sensational, especially in the second half of the season. No wonder he’s worshipped by Well fans.
Andy Newport: Lawrence Shankland has had a record-breaking campaign but I’d go for van Veen. Of his 25 goals, 21 have come in the league, which works out at 46 per cent of the Steelmen’s strikes. Without him, they’d be in huge bother.
Craig Swan: Van Veen has to get the honours. To score so many goals in a side that struggled for a long spell is impressive.
Fraser Wilson: Duk. There’s an argument he, Bojan Miovski, van Veen or Shankland deserve the award anyway. How many could they have scored playing for the Old Firm? More than just his goals, Duk’s been a revelation with his tricks and work rate.
What sort of impression do you expect Dundee to make on the Premiership next season?
Michael Gannon: Dundee have the nucleus of a solid enough squad. But they’ll need to tool up if they are to avoid being involved in a bottom-six scrap for most of the season.
Andy Newport: Survival will be the No.1 goal for Gary Bowyer’s team. Dundee have been a yo-yo club for too long but big improvements will be required this summer if they are to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
Craig Swan: It will not be easy as the new boys and they’ll need to start well. Staying up is the obvious target.
Fraser Wilson: A scrap for survival and even that depends on their work in the transfer window especially with 20 players and a manager out of contract. Kilmarnock’s season shows just how difficult coming up can be.
