Manchester City loanee Jamese McAtee has revealed that he had a "good conversation" with the club about his time on loan at Sheffield United in the Championship, with the club eager to see the creative midfielder scoring more goals.
City sanctioned a loan deal for McAtee this summer, as Guardiola looks for the 20-year-old to get some valuable first-team experience while away from the club. The Blades are currently second in the Championship and that is in no small part due to the impact of the young midfielder.
McAtee has slowly edged is way into Paul Heckingbottom's starting XI, scoring once and providing one assist during his time on loan. The youngster made his sixth league start for Sheffield United during their 1-0 win against Huddersfield on Saturday - taking his total league appearances to 16 for the season.

Guardiola will be keen to see McAtee providing further assists and finding the back of the net more in his role, something the Catalan manager impressed upon him in a recent conversation.
"His [Guardiola's] message was that he wants to see me in the big games being able to play like I do when I was with the Under-23s, scoring goals," McAtee told Yorkshire Live. "That's what he wants to see.
"My agent went in last week to see City and had the conversation about how it's going and what we would like to do and how we are going to see next season. It was a good conversation.
"The loan manager has also visited, checking up on me and going through my games. That visit came off the back of two games where they weren't my best, so he was just saying 'keep your head up' and stuff like that.
"But no one's come after I have had a few good games, so hopefully they can come back soon!"
