Antonio Conte and his Tottenham side responded well to their recent slump in form, beating Leicester 3-1 at home on Sunday. Harry Kane's opener and Son Heung-Min's brace gave the side a three-goal lead before Kelechi Iheanacho scored a consolation in the 90th minute.
It moves the side up to fourth in the league, though North London rivals Arsenal play later in the day and could reclaim it with a win. Discussing the victory, Conte said in his post-match press conference: "It was a good performance against a really good team. The game wasn't easy, and we knew very well that despite them making eight changes, you could see the quality of the squad that Leicester has.
"I think we started well, and then we got lucky when they hit the post, but after this, we scored with Harry and then we had chances to improve the result. We deserved to win the game. We get three points in an important moment of the season, especially as in the next games we are going to face Liverpool and Arsenal.
