Indian Law Has No Answer for Your Google Drive
Your physical property follows the Indian Succession Act, 1925. Your digital accounts follow nothing, because Indian law does not yet recognise digital assets as inheritable property in any clear, codified way. A family that wants access to a deceased person's Gmail or iCloud account cannot simply produce a death certificate and a will. Each platform has its own policy, and most of those policies were written to protect user privacy, not to help grieving relatives.
