Love Island 2022 is coming to a close - in tonight's live final, one couple will be crowned the winners and will leave the villa with £50,000.
All the finalists will then return to the outside world, after spending eight weeks in their Majorcan villa.
But their life will be far from normal when they touch down.
The contestants went into the villa as regular people, but will be returning to newfound fame, and in some cases millions of followers already.
After getting back, the Islanders are sure to be kept busy with plenty of new business opportunities as brands clamour to make lucrative deals with them.
But they also won't quite be finished with their contracted ITV agreement.
As they're set to return very soon, here's what happens to the Love Island contestants after the show ends.
Love Islanders' contracts
Before entering the Love Island villa, all of the contestants have to sign a strict contract that sets out their obligations during the show and the rules that they must follow.
However, the filming of the main show isn't the only ITV commitment that the contestants are contracted to do.
In 2019m the Love Island contract was revealed in full for the first time after it was presented to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport select committee on reality TV.
The contract showed that as well as the main show, the contestants are required to make themselves available to film the spin-off show Aftersun, and "any other making-of programmes".
While the finalists will be looking forward to spending time with their families again, they might not get much of a chance to do this at first as they usually have a host of press commitments and more filming to get done.
Speaking to Huffington Post about what life was like after the show ended, series three finalist Olivia Atwood opened up about her reunion with her family and her busy schedule.
She said: “We saw them for an hour and then we were rushed off and did some more filming.
“Until about three days after I got back, I didn’t see my family properly.
“You needed your parents there but we had filming to do, there was press. That was the first time we got put into this kind of ‘world’.
“We did all the press and thought, ‘What on earth is this?’ Now it’s second nature.”
In the days after leaving the villa, the Islanders are often whisked off to do press appearances for ITV's This Morning, but they're also required to do filming for spin-off shows.
Another series three contestant, Jonny Mitchell, revealed to HuffPost that the Islanders aren't finished with their ITV commitments after the show ends.
He explained: “They’re [the producers] in touch with your family members and friends at home.
“They arrange a reunion-type thing. I went round one of my mate’s houses, so they filmed that. Once you land, you’re still in their pocket.”
What happens to Love Islanders after the final?
Once they've flown back to the UK and completed their press commitments and other filming requirements for ITV, the Love Island finalists will be tasked with finding an agent to manage their newfound fame.
Coming out of the villa, the Islanders will have plenty of opportunities waiting for them.
From brand deals to personal appearances, there's lots that they can do to make the most of their reality TV fame.
But their strict contracts mean that they might be limited to what they can do at first.
Last year, a leaked contract allegedly showed that the Islanders weren't allowed to appear on other TV programmes for months after Love Island ended.
According to The Sun, the document stated that they "must not apply, audition for, or appear on any other programme until February 22" and that they also "cannot contribute or appear on any podcast without approval".
It was also reported that ITV bosses also have power over the brand details that the contestants take on for the first month after the show finishes.
However, ITV do help the contestants to deal with their new fame by assisting them in the search for a management agency.
In their 2022 Love Island Duty of Care protocols, ITV said: "We encourage Islanders to secure management to represent them after the show and manage them should they choose to take part in other TV shows, advertising campaigns or other public appearance opportunities."
What appearances and brand deals will Love Island 2022 contestants make?
Eventually, the Islanders will be able to start making some decisions about their post-villa careers.
This year it looks like the finalists already have plenty of companies interested in working with them.
In previous years, many of the contestants have gone on to rake in huge amounts of money by touring the country and charging nightclubs for personal appearances.
It looks like this year's contestants could do the same, with Ekin-Su already scheduled to make several club appearances after the final.
The Turkish actress is advertised to make appearances at Marilyn's Nightclub in Evesham on August 6, Trilogy Nightclub in Warrington on August 27 and at Chester Freshers week on September 24.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Gemma Owen have been earmarked as the biggest potential earners of the 2022 series, whether they win or not.
An insider told the Mirror: “Ekin-Su and Gemma have been the stand-out stars in terms of marketability. Ekin-Su is not only beautiful, but she also has a captivating personality.
“Gemma has such a wise head on her shoulders. With the Owen name, she already has a big profile which brands want to tap into. And her own swimwear brand, OG Beachwear, will be sure to get a big boost.”
The Sun also reported that Ekin-Su has offers from makeup companies and clothing brands that want to work with her, and that there's already a "TV bidding war" for the fiery star.
There's also been rumours that Davide and Ekin-Su could be set for their own spin-off show after fans have been calling for the favourite couple to get their own programme.
