Arsenal secured a crucial 4-2 win over Aston Villa in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta's side had trailed twice at Villa Park before two injury-time goals clinched all three points, sending them back above Manchester City at the top of the league table. Villa striker Ollie Watkins had broken the deadlock early on before Bukayo Saka's emphatic volley equalled things up after 16 minutes.
Former Liverpool playmaker Phillipe Coutinho restored the home side's lead just after the half-hour mark but the Gunners were a completely different animal after the break, coming out firing on all cylinders. Oleksandr Zinchenko equalised for the north London outfit while Eddie Nketiah and Martin Odegaard both squandered guilt-edge opportunities.

Eventually, January signing Jorginho fired an emphatic long shot off the woodwork before it bounced into the net via goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Central midfielder Granit Xhaka, who was substituted off in the second half, then sprinted off the Arsenal bench to go and celebrate with his teammates, clearly ecstatic that the away side were able to snatch all three points at the death.
Xhaka earned a booking for his theatrics but it is doubtful that the Swiss captain will be too bothered. Gabriel Martinelli also caused some headlines by celebrating before he had put the ball in the net for Arsenal's fourth goal - angering former Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor in the process.
“I didn't like Martinelli running through and celebrating before he puts the ball in the back of the net,” Agbonlahor told talkSport. "He's been rubbish for a month.
"He's scoring a tap-in, and celebrating before he scores. Lack of respect for your teammates. I didn't like it."
