Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has revealed what Gabriel Jesus told his teammates when he joined from Manchester City last summer.
The north London outfit sit eight points clear at the top of the standings with just ten games to go, albeit second-placed Manchester City still have a game in hand on them. One major reason for their impressive campaign has been the influence of Jesus on and off the pitch.
The 25-year-old has netted five league goals and provided a further five assists whilst also bringing a winning mentality with him from the Etihad Stadium, despite spending a long period out injured. Now, Gabriel has revealed that the talented forward vowed to help the Gunners win the league title on the day he signed from City.

"I think I pick Gabriel Jesus, because he's won the Premier League a lot, he's played a lot of games, he has big experience in this league," Gabriel told Premier League Uncut when asked to pick his favourite Brazilian forward in the English top-flight.
"When he came to Arsenal, on the first day he looked at me and said 'this year if everyone works together, we will win this league'. He has good experience, takes this experience with the team, he speaks a lot for everyone."
Of course, the title is far from wrapped up but Mikel Arteta's side certainly have a healthy gap at the top of the pile going into the last two months of the season. Next up for Arteta and co is a match against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday.
