
We hear about it when the Boston Celtics are putting up historic offensive numbers, and we hear about it when they are choking late in games they ought to be winning even without historic levels of offense. But what, exactly, is the phenomenon that has become known as “Mazzulla ball,” the 3-point heavy style of play named after and favored by Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla?
