The Boston Celtics have signed guard Kamar Baldwin to their 2023 Las Vegas Summer League roster. What does Baldwin bring to the Sin City Celtics’ roster? The 25-year-old undrafted Butler alum played for the Celtics G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics, in 2022-25 after latching onto Boston’s training camp roster during the NBA’s 2022 offseason.
In Portland, the Georgia native put up 14.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over an average of 34.2 minutes per contest played across a total of 31 games played with Maine (all 31 as a starter, at that) with only 1.9 fouls and 2.1 turnovers per tilt. Baldwin shot 46.8% overall, 36.7% from 3, and 75.0% from the line.
On a recent episode of the “How ‘Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, the hosts check out his highlights, react to the signing, and give their thoughts about Baldwin’s future with the team.
