Dancing On Ice stars can expect a big boost to their bank accounts as they take on the ITV challenge.
The latest series is now underway and features the likes of former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens and England rugby union player Ben Foden.
Foden revealed he was hoping to rebuild his image with his time on the programme.
"Doing a show like this, you try to show people at home that I’m not a bad guy, everyone makes mistakes," the 36-year-old told OK!
The Sunday evening show is an opportunity for the celebs involved to try something new and a paycheque also helps.
Celebrities can earn a huge fee for their short time on the show, judged by Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo, as well as the ever-present skating icons Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean.
So how much do celebrity contestants earn from the show?
How much are Dancing On Ice contestants paid?
Stars of Dancing On Ice do not reveal their exact salaries, but it is believed that cheques worth between £20,000 and £100,000 are handed out during the show.
The show is unlike BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in this regard, where celebs get the same wage until they progress further into the competition.
Dancing On Ice celebrities can simply demand different fees for their appearance on the series.
ITV bosses stumped up £150,000 in 2013 for former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson to appear on the show.
It was hoped by ITV that the Canadian-American's time on the show would bring in millions of viewers to the series.
But there was shock when she left the show in the first round, having been voted to take part in the skate-off with Keith Chegwin.
Judges unanimously voted her off, meaning she only performed one 90-second dance and a 60-second skate-off before her exit.
The skating time means her time on the show cost ITV roughly £1,000 a second.
A source told the Mirror at the time: "Pammy is the biggest star we have had in years and we hoped she would pull in millions of viewers for weeks and weeks.
"We had to book first-class flights for her and source plush accommodation for months too, in case she got to the final stages. All in all, we’ve spent about £150,000 on Pammy and she has lasted one week. It’s a disaster."
