What do Scotland need to qualify for Euro 2024 tonight?

Wednesday night in Seville could be a huge moment for Scotland.

After a stunning Euro 2024 qualifying campaign thus far, Steve Clarke’s side stand on the brink of booking their spot at next summer’s tournament in Germany.

The Tartan Army sit top of Group A with 15 points from five games. They lead Wednesday night’s opponents Spain by four points and head there with a relatively simple task, at least on paper.

While Scottish fans will be wary of jumping to conclusions just yet after so many near-misses in the past, they could become one of the first nations to completely wrap up qualification.

Having missed out on the World Cup, a second consecutive appearance at a European Championships final would represent major progress for the Scottish game.

What do Scotland need to qualify for Euro 2024?

The equation is pretty simple from Scotland’s perspective. If they avoid defeat in Spain on Wednesday, they will have qualified for Euro 2024.

Meanwhile, if Norway fail to beat Cyprus on Wednesday, Scotland will qualify regardless of their result.
