Born Jenna Nicole Mourey, Marbles became a household name in the early days of YouTube. Her humour felt personal, chaotic and refreshingly relatable. She launched her channel on July 17, 2010, with “How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking,” a comedy video that went on to attract 72 million views.
Her channel grew into a major online destination, collecting nearly two billion views and more than 20 million subscribers at its peak. Marbles also earned a Shorty Award, received several Streamy Award nominations and appeared in television shows and films.
For years, her videos were part of the internet’s weekly routine. That made her sudden departure in 2020 especially significant for longtime fans.

On June 25, 2020, Marbles uploaded a tearful farewell video titled “A Message.” She addressed criticism over older content, including a video featuring her imitation of Nicki Minaj and material that viewers criticised as racially offensive.
Marbles apologised and acknowledged the impact of her past videos. “I’ve tried my best to grow up and be a better person,” she told viewers.
She also explained her decision to remove or make several videos private, saying, “For now, I just can’t exist on this channel.”
The creator did not rule out a return, but she made clear that stepping away was necessary. “I think I’m just going to move on from this channel for now. I don’t know if that’s forever. I don’t know how long it’s going to be. I want to make sure that the things that I put into the world are not hurting anyone.”
Since then, Marbles has maintained a remarkably low public profile. She has not resumed regular YouTube uploads or built a visible presence on Instagram or TikTok. Still, a few personal milestones have reached fans.
In December 2022, her longtime partner, Julien Solomita, announced that they had married, sharing photos from their wedding. The couple also faced the loss of their beloved chihuahua, Mr. Marbles, who died in December 2025 at age 17.
A rare update arrived in February 2026, when friend Rosanna Pansino spoke about Marbles on a podcast. “She got married, she spends time with dogs, I heard, volunteering. Last time I saw her was at [Safiya [Nygaard]] and [Tyler [Williams]’s] wedding.”
While the details remain limited, Marbles appears to have built a quieter life away from the audience that once followed her every upload. For fans hoping for a comeback, there is no confirmed return. For now, her absence seems to be a choice she continues to make.
