What Cristian Romero did to Reece James after late Harry Kane equaliser in Chelsea vs Tottenham

Cristian Romero was once again in the headlines following Tottenham's late 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Seconds before Harry Kane's stoppage-time equaliser, the Argentina international was caught on camera grabbing Marc Cucurella by the hair and it resulted in the new Chelsea signing going to ground.

A foul wasn't given against Romero and it became quite the talking point after the game. Not long after the incident, the Lilywhites rescued a point as Kane nodded in Ivan Perisic's corner to spark wild scenes in the away end at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham's No.10 was quickly followed by his teammates as he sprinted over to the far corner to celebrate in front of the travelling support. Romero was there in the middle of things, but an alternative angle of the goal did highlight how he celebrated as soon as the ball hit the net.

Marked by Chelsea's Reece James, the Tottenham man got up close and personal with the defender and screamed in his face. It's not the first time the 24-year-old has celebrated like this after doing likewise to Harry Maguire of Manchester United after another late equaliser at Old Trafford back in March.

While on that day Maguire had the last laugh with the Red Devils collecting all three points, James and his teammates didn't have enough time to find a winner and gain revenge on Romero. Shortly after, things got rather heated once again as Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were involved in another altercation after firstly squaring up after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's strike.

Showing his passion on the pitch with his celebration after Kane's late equaliser, Romero wasn't the only person at Stamford Bridge getting carried away after Spurs had found the back of the net. Conte, who shows his enthusiasm on the touchline every week, was asked in his post-match press conference if his players are now showing the same passion as him.

"Yeah, but you have to show every time passion because the result can be positive or negative but I think the passion is very important," he admitted. "In every job that people do. You have to love your job, you have to love your work and to show the passion.

"If the people understand this and the fans see this it's good, it's good. And you can take big achievement if you have big passion in your job. "
