The Boston Celtics are the 2024 NBA champions. They will enter next season looking to repeat their success. However, multiple teams around the NBA have improved their rosters during the offseason, including the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, who are both conference rivals. As such, Boston isn’t guaranteed an easy path to a second consecutive championship.
Brad Stevens has favored continuity with his team, extending multiple players’ contracts during the opening weeks of free agency. Joe Mazzulla’s team will come into the season knowing each other’s tendencies and with a firm grasp of the offensive and defensive playbook.
