It's almost a quarter of a century since US director Peter Sellars helmed one of Australia's biggest arts festivals - and departed in a storm of controversy.
The acclaimed director has finally returned to the Adelaide Festival with two shows, Perle Noire: Meditations for Josephine and El Nino: Nativity Reconsidered, his opera written with composer John Adams.
