What Christian Pulisic has been doing during international break amid American Chelsea takeover

Chelsea winger and USMNT international Christian Pulisic has been doing something rather cool for charity during this current break amid American Blues takeover talks.

The likes of Todd Boehly's consortium, the Ricketts family's collaboration with Ken Griffin, and Nick Candy are some of the likely front runners in the race. But there are also outliers such as the Saudi Media group who stand a chance at winning the bid. With the Raine Group set to announce the 3-4 consortium shortlist shortly, the players will be watching on with much interest but especially Pulisic, who could be returning to new American ownership.

We know already that the 23-year-old supports Woody Johnson's New York Jets, but all talk on a potential takeover from the NY owner has seemed to quieten down. Regardless, with the players having very little say in who is picked to become Roman Abramovich's successor, they will be watching on with keen interest in the forthcoming days and weeks.

Whilst the wait goes on in the takeover race, the USMNT winger who has had an upturn in recent form under Thomas Tuchel, and has done something special to raise money for UNICEF during the Ukraine crisis. Chelsea's No.23 has been involved in taking on the Magnus Chess app that has been set up by Norwegian chess Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen to test his wit at a rather tactical game.

Surprisingly, despite only lasting 25 moves throughout the whole challenge, Pulisic lasted longer on average than the normal person, demonstrating that his skills span wider than just on the pitch. Now that challenge is out of way, Pulisic has the most games to play in out of any of his Chelsea teammates as Gregg Berhalter's side face three big World Cup qualifying games against Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica.
