What channel is Liverpool vs Real Madrid? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Real Madrid and Liverpool will face-off in a repeat of last year's Champions League final on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos were able to secure a memorable double and deny Jurgen Klopp a second European triumph when they came out on top in Paris last term, courtesy of Vinicius Jnr's second-half strike. Thibaut Courtois was a standout performer in the Stade de France, claiming the Man of the Match award.

Madrid have topped their group as defending champions, seeing off the likes of RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk, whilst Liverpool finished as runners-up, albeit on goal difference, hence their difficult draw in the round of 16. They will welcome the European champions to Anfield as they aim to avoid being eliminated by the Spanish side for the third straight year.

Los Blancos, prior to their final success in May, also beat the Merseysiders in 2021. A 3-1 success in the Spanish capital was followed by a goalless draw at Anfield to ensure a quarter-final win.

Both Carlo Ancelotti and Klopp have seen their teams struggle to hit the heights of last season however. The Spanish giants are in contention to retain their European crown, but domestically they find themselves eight points behind LaLiga leaders and arch rivals Barcelona.

Liverpool meanwhile, who claimed two pieces of silverware last season, have been dumped out of both domestic cups and face a battle to simply make the top four. Injuries and a lack of form have seriously hampered their campaign amid continued talk of a summer reshuffle.
