It is the penultimate round in Division 1B and Laois and Antrim meet in what is undoubtedly the most important game of the season for both teams.
The losers are likely to be facing a relegation play-off to preserve their top-flight status.
Laois needed a win in the 2021 play-off against Westmeath to stay in Division One and the Leinster side lost out to Antrim in Corrigan Park last season.
However, Seamus “Cheddar” Plunkett’s side had the last laugh when they won the All-Ireland SHC Qualifier clash between the sides at Parnell Park.
That 2-27 to 2-21 loss resulted in Antrim being demoted to the Joe McDonagh Cup for this season.
Darren Gleeson’s side have fared well in Division 1B this term without registering any points and have been narrowly beaten by Kilkenny, Dublin and Waterford.
Laois, in contrast, have shipped heavy defeats in recent weeks following a solid start against Tipperary.
They were only beaten by four points in their League opener against the Premier County, but lost by 33 points against Waterford and by 17 last weekend in Nowlan Park against Kilkenny.
