Manchester United and Barcelona meet in a heavyweight Europa League showdown that is the pick of the playoff ties for the last 16.
The two giants of European football come face-to-face for the first time since their Champions League encounter in 2019 - while the two clubs have never met in UEFA's secondary competition. The fact both clubs find themselves in this position is a sign of each of their respective declines in recent years, though promise is on the horizon again.
United have been performing well under Erik ten Hag, with a domestic cup final to come while they're pushing hard to be part of Premier League title picture. Barcelona are certainly doing that in Spain as they top LaLiga under Xavi's influence in the dugout.
But which side will keep their hopes of a trophy in Europe alive? Here is everything you need to know about the match.
When is Barcelona vs Man Utd?
The two sides clash at the Camp Nou on Thursday, February 16, with kick-off scheduled for the early evening slot of 5:45pm.
United have never beaten Barcelona at the Camp Nou in their history and have only won once against the Spanish giants in over 30 years. Their last victory was a famous 1-0 win at Old Trafford in the 2008 Champions League semi-final second leg, when Paul Scholes' long-range strike sent the Red Devils to the final, where they beat Chelsea.

Team news
Ten Hag is juggling a number of injury issues with his side, as Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay are all sidelined. Casemiro is available for selection after sitting out the last two Premier League matches due to suspension.
But while the Brazilian returns, new signing Marcel Sabitzer is unavailable due to a one-match ban after picking up three yellow cards in the Champions League group stages earlier this season whilst playing for Bayern Munich. Lisandro Martinez finds himself in the same situation after his three bookings in United's Europa League group stage campaign, but both would be eligible for the return leg in a weeks' time.
For Barcelona, Xavi will be without midfielder Sergio Busquets and winger Ousmane Dembele for the showdown due to their respective injuries.
