What can the Boston Celtics expect from forward Oshae Brissett? Brissett showed promise while playing for the Indiana Pacers, particularly under coach Nate Bjorkgren and alongside then-Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis. His 3-point shooting was impressive, but his finishing at the rim needs improvement. Brissett plays with energy, hustle, and ferocity, making valuable contributions that may not reflect in the box score.
He’s a good cutter, collapses the weak side zone effectively, and opens up opportunities for others. Brissett’s cutting skills could improve the Celtics’ offense, which lacked dynamic drive-and-kick plays during the playoffs.
To talk it over, CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning linked up with Basketball, She Wrote’s Caitlin Cooper, who covers the Pacers for her newsletter.
