Arsenal director Josh Kroenke and former Tottenham star Gareth Bale have been spotted playing in a celebrity golf tournament in California. It comes after a busy few weeks for the pair, where plenty of change has occurred for both, ranging from football to non-football activity.
For Kroenke, it comes after an extremely busy January period at the Emirates Stadium, where three new signings were made as the owners gave their blessing to back Mikel Arteta in his challenge for the Premier League title. Moves for Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo fell through as twists and turns occurred, but the acquisition of Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwior and Jorginho will be seen as a positive.
The ownership appear to be reaping the rewards of backing Arteta thus far. "The vision they have, the commitment and level of understanding of the sport in general is fascinating," the Spaniard said on the hierarchy above him last summer. "I can tell you: I have never seen ownership at that level so committed, close and engaged to bring this club where we want."

An extra injection of over £50million in transfers only further outlines that dedication to the project, with plenty more to come before they reach their ultimate goal. Taking some down time from all the chaos, Josh Kroenke was spotted playing in the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf competition.
Playing across the next three days, he is set to tee off with professional golfer Davis Riley as part of a pairing for the courses. He's not the only celebrity sighting though as former Tottenham star Gareth Bale - infamous for his love of golf - has also taken part in the tournament.
The Welshman recently announced his retirement from football at 33-years-old after guiding his nation to the World Cup finals but crashing out at the group stages. Life after playing professional sport has seen him turn to golf, where he is teeing off with Joseph Bramlett as his partner.
