Matteo Guendouzi is making quite the mark during his spell with Ligue 1 side Marseille, having featured in every sine game for The Phocaeans this season.
Currently occupying 2nd position domestically, as well as holding a 2-1 lead over PAOK Salonika in their UEFA Europa League quarter-final from the first leg, Jorge Sampaoli's men could yet taste success this season.
With questions also circulating surrounding the French midfielder's future, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have his work cut this summer on deciding whether or not the 22-year-old has a future here in North London.

Featuring 46 times in all competitions for the French side, Arsenal have perhaps been accused of being light in the centre of the park, especially when injuries and Africa Cup of Nations rolled round earlier this year. And with the likes of Ruben Nuves, Douglas Luiz and Fabio Ruiz all linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks, questions over his future remain a particular sticky subject.
What has Mikel Arteta said in the past on Matteo Guendouzi?
When posed the question at a press conference back in October of last year, the Arsenal boss responded in a firm manner, insisting he is yet to discuss the Marseille loanee's current future.
“I think you cannot say that about a player that is owned by the club,” said Arteta at a press conference, when asked if Guendouzi would be sold next summer.
“For right now he’s gone for the season and I think he’s having a really good spell in Marseille. It’s part of the plan that we made with him. He continued with his development and we’ll make a decision with him at the end of the year.”
