Taylor Swift has announced her new single, 'Patient Zero', in Los Angeles on 23 September, with the song due for release on 25 September. The surprise announcement has sent fans into a frenzy, with some convinced the track could reference her husband, Travis Kelce.

Swift revealed the news on social media, writing, 'I've been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single 'Patient Zero' will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it's available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours.' The announcement was accompanied by photographs from a black-themed shoot.
