Voters in Hyndburn have had their say in the 2022 local elections.
Council seats were up for grabs in 11 wards including Clayton le Moors, Huncoat, Immanuel, Milnshaw, Netherton, Overton, Peel, Rishton, Spring Hill, St Andrews and St Oswalds.
While Hyndburn Council elections took place there were no seats up for grabs in the Lancashire County Council elections.
These elections take place every three in four years. The next county council elections will take place in May 2025.
The district is a two-tier authority and Hyndburn council provides services for its residents such as waste and recycling collections, street cleaning, parks, open spaces, cemeteries, planning and licensing.
Lancashire County Council provides other services such as highways, gritting, road repairs, street lighting, schools, social services and social care.
Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, May 5, with the count expected to take place Friday day time.
